Our habits rule our life, personally and professionally.
We inadvertently get into our bad habits because habits take no effort. They are immediately satisfying, easy to access, and available (eating junk food or watching Youtube videos).
Establishing positive habits takes thought and effort. Motivation is not enough to make us create positive habits that will change our life. Wanting to lose weight does not make us lose weight. It takes thought to plan our replacement for a bad habit, and it takes time to see the results. For instance, changing our diet or exercising does not have an immediate effect. We have to hold on for the longterm benefits, and that is hard!
